TruSeq Synthetic Long Reads (TSLR, formerly known as Moleculo) are now available at the Keck Center!  We have constructed dozens of successful TSLR libraries that have been extremely helfpful for denovo assembly of metagenomic samples, plant and animal genomes.

These libraries produce synthetic reads 1.5kb to 10kb in length that come from a high coverage assembly of short reads. The high sequencing coverage accurately reconstructs the originating long DNA strands.
